Hi,
this is Krister from Sweden. Time to buy a new camera, most probably a Pentax this time. I have been going through several brands since I started as a young teenager: Practica, Minolta, Canon, Nikon and now a Panasonic DMC-FZ28, a small practical camera with a good zoom. Not bad at all and very practical, but time to buy something with more possibilities and better image quality. The reviews of K-30 has impressed me as have the sample photos I have investigated, especially with high ISO levels. A lot better than K-5 and also better than much more expensive cameras from other brands if you compare side by side. (Check e.g. this one with K-30 at ISO 12800 and compare with e.g. Nikon 800. Click to enlarge.). But I will wait until I can compare properly with K-5IIs before I decide and then see what my wallet can tolerate.
