Just got back from a week in London and a week in Paris, I tried my best but no other Pentax spotted. I did get one person who was impressed with my K50 and 18-135mm, LOL!

I was one of the people wondering about that rubber door when it came out! I still use my K01 on every trip I take, along with my K50 and Oly TG4!

I really like the K01 with the 35mm 2.4 also. On my last trip I had that with me most of the time! I also used the K50 with the 18-135mm. At times I carried both. It really worked out well.

Hey, I'm just got back from a two week, NE and Canada cruise and I ran into another Pentax user in Quebec City, he was as surprised as I was and wasn't an English speaker so it was a very brief but happy encounter!

Just to follow up on this, the D-Offset does truly fit like a glove, it's like it was made for the K01/35mm AL combo. BTW: The 'used' one I bought does not seem to have ever been used and came on the original store display card so I'm not sure what the deal is there but it works for me!

It looks like I'm be on the other side, Corner Brook but if you have any tips for me on great photo sites there I'm all ears! From what I've seen it looks like it's near a National Park but it also doesn't look like I will have to go far to find some outdoor beauty to photograph!

My brother and I both had ME's and only one of them works, the other one seems dead but one is all I need! Walking around with a film camera these days sort of makes a statement I think!

A few months ago I fired up an old ME Super and took a roll of film, it was fun. I plan on taken it along with my on a NE/Canada cruise, just for fun.

Here just some shots to see if the camera was working! I shot with an ME in the that I bought new in the 80's. It looks like my last film shots were 17 years ago, until last week. I have a K100D, K01, and K50. I plan on shooting film off and on just for kicks. Oh, I have a Nikon coolscan V ED that I bought to scan in hundreds of slides, that's done. I was actually kind of surprised the old camera still worked!

My only regret is that I didn't get it with the 40mm, that was a mistake, the prices as so low I don't know what I was thinking, lol!

Ok, it's not HDMI but my cable showed up so I fired up the PS One LCD that I bought years ago (I was thinking about using it for a backup camera screen in the pickup but bought an in dash unit instead). This is going to work fine, it's not a very good picture of the test setup (I'll try again if there is any interest) but the picture on the LCD will work for focusing, etc. It runs on 7.5 volts so I'll need to build a little rechargeable battery pack for it. The LCD is around 5 inches (diagonal) so the whole unit is already fairly small. BTW: Just tested with the K-50 and it works fine with that also.

Ok, I was in Puerto Rico last week and snapped of a bunch of shots, my first real trip with the K01. I really like it and I think I'll get the 18-135 to use with it. I only took my 18-55 AL II on this trip.
