I recently purchased a used K200D to replace one that was stolen while I visited the USC Campus in Southern California, obviously, someone else thought they needed my backpack with my camera more than I did. :(
If I win I plan to use the lense to take pictures of my new grandbaby.

Hello to all again. New user of K200d. I am having trouble with dark photo's trying to shoot outside in an evening setting using a Tamron 18-200 lens. I am looking for suggestions for flash to mount on the shoe that is best for this camera. Thanks in advance.

I am seriously considering purchasing the new K200d and have two questions.
First what are others finding is the best size of memory card and does one really need an ultra high spped memory card?
Can anyone comment on the new Tamron 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DI-ll LD lens? Good or bad. It looks like a great new lens to me, but I am a novice.

Thanks for the reply. The snow was nice, but enough already. I had to travel to Portland today and it took me 7 hours.. Whew crazy! There was a jack-knifed semi east bound between Arlington and Biggs and it caused all kinds of havoc. Plus the road I-84 in the shade was nothing but ice, totally crazy. I still need to try to figure out exactly what lenses I have. I also see that Pentax has now come out with a K200D. I am wondering if it is worth the extra $?

Good day all Pentax owners and users,
I have an old ME Super that doesn't work very well any more and am considering getting a new K100D. Before I take the plunge I want to make sure all my old lenses are going to work with the K100 Super body? I have a few lenses that I was slightly familiar with when I got the thing a number of years ago. Any help you can give me as to what they are and where they are best used would really be appreciated. They are a 50mm that came with the camera, a wide angle 55mm, a fish eye conversion lense, an auto X2 doubler and what I think is a macro lense that says 55mm and 1.2.8f=135mm.
