Came into some Christmas money and looking to buy a tripod and bag, I have a k7 and figure I'll need space for a long telephoto maybe a midrange, my kit 18-55, flash, maybe a few more.
So is that too much gear for a sling bag?
I'd like to get a monopod for shooting at horse shows this summer too. I have seen the Benro meFroto kinda liked the whole idea but would use my whole fund.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a combo kit that would fit the bill?

This was taken during a family walk on my birthday cold blustery day in November on the beach in Rye NH. I have only had the camera a couple weeks I was totally playing around and this one just struck me as interesting?! That's my youngest daughter, and Sparky(dog).

I have recently been bitten by the shutter bug again after many years of just PS family photos. So after too much research I picked up used k7 and kit 18-55. Now I'm slowly adding glass and such as the budget allows.
My wife and both daughters ride horses and I really enjoy taking photos of them riding, so having a weather resistant camera was really high on my list.
My oldest daughter won a Scholastic Arts Award last year with a photo she took, so it looks like the interest is passing down to the next generation.
I really have to thank all of you for the hard work that has been put in to this site its just amazing the information that is here.
