Yeah I agree, but I could care less what they call it as long it is a FF and it would be nice if it was more technically advanced than the current bodies.

I am a newbie to the DSLR world and my first is the K10D, (kit lens) I upgraded from a P & S, so I am looking to gain knowledge. going to be taking classes soon. My interests are in the following order
1) shooting sports events, (football and soccer)
2) macro
3) special events around the city, so I know that I want a powerful zoom lens
4) Architecture
5) portraits
any suggestions on quality lens?
