Below is one of my first shots with the DA* 200mm and the K-1. Note that this photo was taken wide open at f2.8. I was stunned by the sharpness, contrast and colours. Later on I took many more pictures with this combination at a conference. They confirmed my initial impression: tack sharp from 2.8, no focus adjustment needed. Unfortunately I cannot share these pictures. But I can tell you that I'm really delighted with the K-1/DA*200 combination . A steep upgrade compared to K-3/DA*50-135.

Here's a small gallery with photos taken last weekend in Normandy, France: Normandie Photo Gallery by Peter L
I found the stabilisation to work wonderfully. I took 520 pictures during that weekend, some of which at 200+ mm and low shutter speeds, and not a single shot was badly blurred.

Many thanks for your feedback and the nomination :)
This photo is not set up - it's old school. I saw the scene in front of me and managed to push the button at the 'decisive moment'.

I took this picture last November in the Spanish capital Madrid from the bottom of a patio, inside a 1960s apartment block. Looking up you can see only a tiny patch of the Spanish sky. I like the strange and perplexing character of this photo. If it wasn't for the laundry line you could almost think that it has been taken inside a giant spaceship.
