Hi,
I'm new to the forums although I've browsed articles in the past after buying a K-r a year ago.
I started photography whilst at school, a long time ago. My first slr camera was an ME Super, which I still have more than 30 years later. After reading and seeing the brilliant posts and photos of macro work on the forums it was something I just wanted to try and came back to photography after a large break due to other commitments.
Having had a Pentax camera in the past I stuck with a brand I knew and I don't regret it. I still use my kit 50mm f1.7 with extension tubes and a vivitar s1 70-210 zoom with a raynox DCR-150.
Thanks for the information provided on the site, it's extremely useful and a great help.
