I agree wholeheartedly!!!
A new 400/5.6 is exactly what we need to fill out the series - 200/2.8, 300/4.0, 400/5.6 - PERFECT!!

Super images Norm. You've really got that combination dialled in, and it shows the native quality of the DA*200 that you can use it with stacked TC's and still have such good photos.

Thanks Bob.
Thanks Dieseler. Swallows in flight are really tough to capture - this was the best of 40 or 50 frames, most of which were not in focus.

Thank you James (& Otis). I was actually surprised I got this shot at all - the little guy was in deep shade about 7 or 8 metres away, so I tried the pop-up flash on the K3 with the Bigma at 420mm. I'm amazed at the result!
Birds with food in their mouths are usually sitting still, which makes them a little easier to capture.:)
Also, thanks everyone for the likes.

Thanks Gary. A K3 would be a fine companion for your lenses.
Thanks Norm.
Thanks Albert. The "bad hair day bird" is an Australian Magpie Lark, colloquially known as a "Peewee", as that is the sound it makes when vocalizing.
Also, thanks everyone for the likes - they are always appreciated.

Ray and Michael, thanks for the kind words. I'm really happy with these, as I was using the Kx instead of the K3. The Kx + Bigma has always been a good combination.
