And a sixth. And a MF film and ?? 35mm film. Yes I should thin the numbers out.

The Tamron 60B works well with the Pentax-F SMC 1.7x AF adapter. Very fast and accurate auto focus as a 510mm f5.6.

Had the sigma art 35mm for a little while. VERY sharp. No aberrations that I've seen yet. A little heavy combined with my K1mII. Haven't put it on the dock yet. No need. I love it.

The original metal body Q with 01 lens is hard to beat. It fits in my pocket. Is used for photographing hard to access spots. eg electronics, car parts etc. It's a workhorse and is fine as is. If you are lucky enough to have one.

A common problem with these cameras is de-silvering of the prism. Gives a blury strip or two where the silver is deteriorating. Search for threads on this. I have the problem on one of two KXs.

I have had a CZJ electric MC Flektogon for some years. A favourite for close focus and great colours. Recently I noticed aperture not opening and closing smoothly and any amount of "excercise" didn't improve the lens much. Lots of info about cleaning this lens online, so i opened it up. Perhaps the easiest lens to disassemble? But i didn't want to tackle the aperture leaves which had visible oil marks. So out with the isopropanol and cotton buds. A few minutes cleaning and working the aperture and all visible oil gone. A quick reassemble and now it's as good as new. Easy operation and well worth doing for this great lens.

Do A3 prints for club exhibitions. Have new Canon Pro 100s. Surprise is that prints are better than high res digital images. A bonus.

I just bought a "Kinetic Waste Seal Kit" from the local hardware store. Cost AUD$5. Has about 10 washers of varying profile. More than one should work on the Mir. It includes a flat black rubber (?) washer that fits well and covers the chrome lens opening on the K1ii. My Mir 1b goes just beyond infinity focus and is quite sharp. So now to use it.

Of course it will still work. Just accept that you will need to crop the image in post, or try using 1x1 crop mode on the K1ii.

A better solution is to put Mir 1b in camera bag with the Spotmatic.

Adaptall 360B is great, but you need the appropriate P/KA adapter and a SMC F 1.7X adapter to make a 510mm F 5.6 semi auto focus lens. Combination of these 3 items can be pricey and difficult to obtain?

None of my Sigma lenses has had to be modified to work on, or not to scratch my K1ii, including my 70-200 EX 1:2.8 II Macro HSM.

I went from K5ii to K1ii. No regrets at all. Very low noise level alone is a such a plus.
One apsc lens I would miss is the Sigma 30mm f1.4 but I can use it in square crop mode.
I do have lots of older FF lenses. One of them is a Sigma 28-70 F2.8 (77mm filter thread version). Always thought it was a little soft. Great portrait lens. However on the K1ii I find it sharp from F2.8 and it is now my most used lens.
Can't justify a new FF 35mm f1.4 especially as I have many manual 30mm and 35mm lenses if needed. All are great on the K1ii albeit no AF.
Using the K1ii in manual mode is a delight especially as the top dial can be used in ISO giving three dials for speed , aperture and ISO.

Yes it needs practice and a steady hand but some scopes have a swivelling mount to take photos quickly and easily.

Hold phone's camera over spotting scope eyepiece (there are adapters for some but not essential.) Quality can be quite good.
Costa Rica: spotting scope plus iphone 6.
