Get the 50 and the 28-105. The 50 is incredible and the 28-105 is a fantastic lens. It is much cheaper and much more compact than the 24-70.

When shooting raw one must post process. When shooting jpeg one can set the camera to preferred parameters.

I actually bit earlier in the month at B&H for $1097. I emailed them last Friday and the refunded the $100. The lens is unbelievable. Well worth the weight and price.

I own their third best (Fuijifilm x-t20) and their second worst (Pentax KP). I love them both. The KP's image quality is certainly no worse and the shooting experience is just fine. I also own a K3. I am not a video shooter. Simply put, the KP has some of the best image quality of any apsc camera made.

For the criteria I use ie. focal length and f stop (focal ratio) they are equivalent. The angle of acceptance is the same and the focal ratio is the same. The focal ratio of f13 that you suggest is absolutely not the same and at the same shutter speed would result in a much darker photograph. That is hardly equivalent. You seem to be confusing focal ratio with depth of field.

The 06 lens is incredible for what it is. To have a 207 mm equivalent f2.8 lens that size and weight is crazy.

I got an 08 last week. When I put it on my q7 it exhibited the same problem. I also tried it on my updated q -no dice.
I put it in the box to send back, determined not to get another. I set up the return with Adorama then went to take a nap.
When I awoke I decided to put it back on my q7 one more time and voila, it worked and has worked ever since. I love it
more than I ever thought I would and would not consider returning it. Keep in mind that I also have a k3 with a Sigma 10-20.

Hello-
I just got the 06 yesterday. Now I have 2 qs, the 01, 02 and 06 lenses and the Fotodiox adaptor. The 06 cost me more than either camera
with the 01 and 02 lenses but I'm very glad I got it. Here is an out of camera jpg at full zoom of this man's best friend.

Hello-
I'm a long time lurker and first time poster. As an owner of a k10, k5 and k-01, I was inspired to get a q because of this post. I appreciate all of the q tips from Snostorm
and all of the other q masters around here. Here is my first attempt at q super telephoto. I used the fotodiox adaptor with aperture control and the Pentax da18-250. They
were taken from inside my kitchen through the sliding glass door. I just yesterday got the da55-300 and am looking forward to using that. With all of the sage advice from
you I am looking forward to improving my skills. Thanks.
