Lens in almost excellent condition mechanically optically. External condition - as may be seen on attached pictures - looks excellent, you can hardly see any signs of use.
Both - original SMC-A Asahi Pentax type - front and rear caps included in the offered set. Non-original 67mm two hoods are optional as is a B+W 67mm protection filter.

Front and rear caps are included in the offered set plus dedicated hood with its own oversized cap. Dedicated Tiffen Cinematic 86mm protection filter is an option.
Dedicated adapters from Pentacon Six - to Pentax K or any other mount are offered in the internet.

Spotmatics have a special circuit that makes them unaffected by batteries voltage changes. This is why we can still use them without any problem with 1,5V alkalines instead of original 1,35V mercury cells. I recently had 2x Pentax KM one (9/10 outside) with 3 steps underexposure and the second (9,8/10 outside) with not working meter. In both cases the problem was in circuit cables almost desintegrating in your hands. Old oxidized cables has high resistance - so they will probably need to be replaced

It is all clear, that after screw-drive conversion these lenses are not affected by any electrical problems of the lens internal AF circuit itself. They only rely on the mechanical, camera-driven system.
I just wondered if the "capacitor" theory had any sense. You can also find films on the YT showing, that direct, mechanical stimulation of the SDM engine can fix it.... don't know for how long.

He said that SDM issue is due to "discharged capacitor, that needs recharging after long time not being connected to the camera body. He states, that in his copy SDM issue was gone..... ?????
