Referring to the bottom photo, the one taken with DA70 Limited:
If the photo had been just of the buildings, with the lovely golden glow, it would already have been a beautiful picture;
but with the addition of the Milky Way (I presume that’s what it is…?) in the sky behind,
that makes the shot really special and incredible! Well done!!👍

Love the colour of this picture, and the mood that it brings.
Was that how it looked to the eye, or did you process the colour?

Hi, I noticed that the star-burst in the picture is a “double” star-burst.
This has happened to me before too, sometimes.
Does anyone know why “double” star-bursts occur? What causes it?

To me, it’s a powerful image.
And I especially appreciate how you captured the filament of the bulb without over-exposing that, and yet achieved a lovely exposure level - not too dark and with enough detail - in the rest of the picture.

Those CCD colours are sure Superb.
And the CCD BW looks great too. The way the tones are rendered.... lovely.

Fully agree re CCD vs CMOS. The look of CCD is indeed different.
Those are two simply lovely photos - if they were mine, I’d regard them as keepers, for sure.😄

I really agree - very nice!
The green leaves have a lovely “glow” to them, and the deep reds in the background set them off nicely.

The DA35 f2.8 Ltd. is one of my favourite and heavily used lenses too.
I've found it an amazing lens! Whether in macro application or otherwise, its ability to capture the very finest of detail, coupled with its unique way of rendering it, and the contrast and colour it gives — remarkable! Time and again I've been pleasantly stunned by this lens — a gem.

I'm sorry to hear that.
I'm assuming that by DA40 you meant the Limited lens?
It would appear then that this happens not just to FA Ltds but to DA Ltd's also..... ?
Thanks for the tip, I'll be keeping an (uneasy) eye open now, for my DA Ltd 15 & 35.
Wondering whether other DA Ltd owners here have experienced this sort of jamming as well?
