I made this choice a few months ago and opted for the K-01 because of two video features; an external mic and a handy intervalometer in movie mode. Also being flat on three sides it becomes its own tripod in some situations, especially with the 40mm pancake. I heard it also takes pictures!
Were it weather sealed with a viewfinder the K-01 would have been a dynamite camera. But not an entry level one. Still special.

Thanks to those who mentioned manually selecting the ISO, the Green Button was driving me to abstraction. Simple step that I couldn't intuitively make.

Back from a decade of point and shoots with a K01 to use with my funky leftover A lenses once attached to an A3000.
Which of course I'll ignore while trying to acquire interesting new ones. Ridiculous hobby, I know.
