Hi Adam,
I'd like to make a review my SMC-F 28mm F2.8 lens. I can compare it with the kit lens and some lenses I have before. I had a SMC-M 28mm F2.8 before and used a DA 40mm for a month although I don't have them now. Is that ok?

Yeah.. The sunsets here are very beautiful.. These were the ones I took while going home from work..
Imagine taking a shot of the lake/bridge or even the city center with this..

Hi guys,
Am here in Firenze, Florence and was wondering if there are pentaxians around here. I think the season right now is the best time to shoot landscape because of the great sunset they have here. I just shot one this afternoon.
If you guys are from Florence, do PM and maybe we can have coffee or be on a shoot together... :D

I did the same route before.. and quite happy with the DA 16-45mm.. that is if you're into wide.. But will not do it again. The only drawback I see in the kit lens is its distortion and sharpness in the corners specially if you used it for landscapes...
Good thing K7 has distortion correction already.. :)
Base on your needs, I don't think you need to get one. Save up for a much better lens.. :D
A fast lens maybe could improve your skills.. :D

I regret selling my DA 70mm Ltd. It was the only lens I loved using my K10D.. I bet I would have loved it it I were to use it with my K7..

I wanted to upgrade my K10D to a Kx before because I had hard times doing low light events.
Put the gear on sale and then went out to shoot. To my surprise, I felt the camera is enough for my needs again. check my blog about it..

On the photo above, I think you used the lens wide open and that you did not focus it to infinity.
6MP is more than enough by the way! :D
