I am very very impressed with samples posted here from the 16-35 lens. I do not usually use zoom lenses but this one would be very useful for me and the we rating is a big plus. Thank you for sharing!

I love using my vintage lenses on Manual mode. I choose an ISO, set an aperture on the lens ring and only adjust the exposure in camera. By checking the results on the screen I am going for a certain look for my photos.

As the holiday season approaches, I have to admit that currently I am listening quite a bit to Christmas songs, in English and in other languages. When getting bored of that, I am listening to top hits from the last 4 decades - plenty of good stuff.

This indeed is a very exciting lens like all Pentax * are. When the review will be out I'm sure it is going to be a success. With a lens like this I might actually take more telephoto shots!

Very successful atmosphere, it goes straight for the full effect. The noise in the picture actually helps with the effect. Thank you for sharing!

Q system not dead? Ehhh. . .

This very compact system always appealed to me but I think it was lacking a bit on IQ due to the small sensor. I would love to see a new camera with a really good compact sensor to take full advantage of the lenses already available. If the camera is very compact, with powerful functions and at a very affordable price, it might appeal to many!

That 40mm f2 looks amazing and very compact. What brand is it and how does it perform?

I personally enjoy street photography although I rarely shoot people up-close. A few years ago I had a personal project of shooting unusual cars on the street - I really enjoyed that!

I still love my two Pentax cameras and my collection of Pentax and compatible lenses. I tried some medium class Canon and Nikon DSLRs and I did not like them a bit. I am not too happy about the Ricoh branding but it is a big company nevertheless. I might cover the letters though ;-)

I am very interested in the subject and I found it very educational and also entertaining to read this thread. I consider that both DSLRs and camera-phones have their advantages and unique usefulness. Overall, a good camera will always be my favourite against a camera phone.

I am very interested in this subject. Thank you very much for posting this, I am using many manual focus lenses, some very old. Now the focus issues that I encountered make more sense to me and I can adjust my approach.

Very impressive aircraft from the good old times. It reminds me of some good movies about the WWII. A machine so well designed that seems to fly even when still on ground. Thank you for sharing!

I would have never guessed you did not use a tripod - it is a successful photo. The old wheel has a lot of character and the waterfall is a joy to look at. If you are able, it might be a great idea to return in Spring for a re-take with a twist. Well done!

I really like the sky and the colour of the windows. The top of the photo is very well realised and the lower part is good too - maybe just the red and orange are a bit over the top. Great photo anyway!
