Canon EOS 7D Mark II teardown " thoroughly weather-sealed."

I want to see if anyone sees something I am not seeing.

I mean my K-3 has 24MP no AA and I always do manual focus on video, and even then the K-3 does pretty good in AF unless I'm filming a dance recital or a hockey game that the Canon I dont think can keep up with anyway...

Are the 40 extra focus points and the 2 FPS more worth $1000, and loose IBIS and focus peaking.

What's The Big Deal with the 7D Mark II??
I mean its a very nice camera. I guess it's fast with those 65 cross type focus points. And Dual Pixel AF looks pretty nifty for video recording. BUT!!!!

I don't know about anyone else. I dont want to sound like a FanBoy...

But I think the Pentax K-5 did a lot of wants "new" with the Canon back on 2009!!!

Time Lapse recording for one and the weather sealing.

But the canon does not have IBIS or focus peaking or zebras that my K-01 had.:o

Unfortunately no! There are absolutely no signs and rumors! No lenses no mock ups. No nothing!! But apsc is ok they just need better live view autofocus for video!!

Like many have stated already, great photographers have created great images using an iPhone. And idiots have WASTED $3000 for a D800, and $1700 for a Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8 zoom!!! More people liked images from a humble K-01 with 40mm XS than the Nikon taken during the same event!!!

The most $$ I got for an image was for one I used a Rokinon 85mm lens.

The equipment will NEVER make you a better photographer!!!!

Its just a matter of patience, practice and a little luck to creat powerful images.

I hate to admit but the OM-D E-M5, E-PL5, and E-PM2 are pretty awesome cameras. They embody what Pentax stood for back when they released cameras like the ME Super, and later the *ist 35mm cameras, even the original *ist D and K-x awesome cameras in a small package. I think the Q is ok, but the sensor is too small for such a "big" body and lens mount. The K-01 should have just included a mirror as "big" as it is, maybe some sort of Sony SLT like technology. It cant be Sony exclusive since Canon used semi-translucent technology back in the 1960's Pellix film SLR .

Any ideas for a returning Pentax user!!!

I am sorry, I'll Elaborate... As a start. Which lens and body should I get FIRST!!! I will expand my collection later..

I want the BEST Contrast, Sharpness,
I want to travel light, and I dont want to loose a shot because I am changing lenses.

I place low light AF performance as the utmost Priority!!!

Which body and which lens should I get on DAY ONE

I was a born Pentax user my dad used SPII, my first was the K1000. I took for granted the quality of the Pentax Lens.
A few years ago being pretty satisfied with the K-x, but a little frustrated my the AF performance, I wanted to upgrade. I VERY annoyed with the K-r AF issues, and same sensor as K-x, and the EXTREME high price in 2010 for the K-5!! I decided to sell all my Pentax gear!
BOY! do I regret that decision! I went to Micro Four Thirds, for size and value for the money, but HORRIBLE low light performance. More recently went to the Nikon system, great products, but just SO EXPENSIVE!!! And I really missed the SR from Pentax, so many features Nikon only puts into their $2000-$3000 bodies.

The most important thing for me of all is FAST, RELIABLE AF in low light!!! SO much that I considered the Canon 7D but such horrible dynamic range!!! And expensive Plastic Canon lenses!!!

I want to get a body and ONE lens!! to begin....

What should I get a K-30 or K-5 IIs or no s?
Is the low light AF that much better with the K-5 II than the K-30 or the original K-5?

Which lens? Limited 35 2.8 macro, Limited 43 1.9, FA 35 2, Limited 31 1.8 or 18-135 WR or maybe da* 16-50 2.8...

One Camera One Lens anyone got any Ideas?
