Hello All,

Vivitar 135mm f 2.8
This is a 2 part post one is to verify that Komine made this lens seems really good, is it just me.. Serial number is 28233709. This lens is in perfect condition. After many trial and error attempts at spending $$ on used lenses this seems to be real gem. AT least from the lenses I have accumulated so far.

Below are some test pics I took quickly just after getting it yesterday. They seem rich and full of life but they maybe just me of course. I was amazed at the detail in the Missalette from 6 feet away and the text is so sharp.
The music book was a 2.5 second exposure and color seems well balanced.

The other part what is a short list of great lenses I seem to be spending more time looking for the grail lens instead of re-learning my art from 25 years ago with film. Before I get anymore what tests can be done to really see what lenses I currently have can do to see how they perform.

Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

This picture was taken while Canoeing Walden Pond in Concord MA. Henry David Thoreau lived on this pond in 1845 for a few years hence the title of my Photograph. The water is spectacularly clear as you can see from picture. Although this picture was taken with the old Canon XSI I do own a Pentax K30 and use as my primary camera.

Used Canon Eos Digital Rebel Xsi 12.2 Megapixels Slr Camera W/18-55 IS Black

Best Of Luck and Thanks,

John
