This might have been discussed before. Is there a way to get rid of the blue halo by using a filter or such and if so what kind of filter?

Hello Everyone:
I have been dabbling with photography since the 1970s and worked with black and white, color emulsions, and now onto the digital age. In the 80s and most of the 90s I used an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic and Pentax K1000 bodies among others with a bunch of manual focus lenses including Pentax SMC 28mm f/3.5, 55mm f/1.8, Sears 135mm f/2.8, Vivitar 200mm f/3.5, Hanimex 300mm f/4 among others.
My primary interest is nature photography (besides everyday life) although not necessarily wildlife. My current interest is to adapt manual focus lenses in digital cameras and has been playing with adapters.
The starscape is a 30 minute exposure on Fuji 800 film - 300mm f/4 stopped to 5.6
The Hawaiian scene was taken by the Sears 135mm f/2.8 autoexposure.
