I use mine on a k1 ll and I have to say it’s probably one of the best lenses available at its price. Is it the sharpest thing out there? No. Is it the softest lens out there. Nope. At least on the K1 ll body, it’s certainly sharp enough for photos. I usually try to keep it around f8 at all focal lengths at it seems to be a general happy medium for them all. If you can only take the one lens, it’s definitely a great choice!

I'm absolutely loving the K-01 I recently got. I've used Pentax's for years but this is my first digital one. It gets more use than my D7000 that just sits in the bag now.

I was just wondering if you guys find focus peaking to be that noticeable or it's just a semi help? Some things I've noticed is that with designs and textured surfaces, FP is very noticeable. But when used for other things, you really have to look close to notice it. I've never used FP before so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be blatantly obvious or if it's typically more subtle.

Hey guys, recently picked up a K-01 and I have a question that maybe some others can help me out with. When I shoot in manual mode with an m42 adaptor and lens, the -3/+3 exposure meter is displayed on the screen. When I put a M lens on and shoot, there's nothing displayed at all. I've tried a few M lenses as well and nothing shown for any of them. Could someone explain this to me why it would show a meter for one lens type but not another? I appreciate it
