Hello if anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated!
I have just bought a new Hoya HMC Super 62mm UV (O) filter. I have noticed a rattle from the filter as though the glass is slightly loose from the frame. The filter also appears not to have a retaining ring / c-ring to secure the glass, as my normal or HMC only Hoya filters do. Is this normal in the Hoya HMC Super, in particular, or a new feature in their newest filters? (I understand one other manufacturer, at least, opt to use a 'loose glass plate' as this is thought to cause less stress on the element and frame in various temperate conditions) ...or is my filter simply faulty?!?

Hello thought id make a post as i have been browsing the site for a while. Just getting back into 35mm film cameras after a fair few years with digital. I have to say im liking the 'back to basics approach!' Currently using a Pentax MX and have the lens buying bug again!
