Mine gets wavy, I'm guessing dropping resolution and refresh rates, only during autofocus. It's absolutely gorgeous the rest of the time.

If you don't want to wait on a wireless trigger, you can use the old hat method. Hat over lens, shutter in T, trip shutter, remove hat. Reverse for closing the shutter. Helps cut down on handling shake very well, as long as you don't catch your hat on the lens.
