Can anyone help please? I have a Pentax K7 with various lenses, is there an adaptor so that I can use them with my Pentax Q compact. Many thanks.

Hi All Happy New Year to everyone. A quick introduction I am new to photography trying to learn as much as possible and buy kit for a Pentax K7 and a Pentax Q compact on a limited budget. So for all you scholars I'm open and grateful for any help and suggestions. In return whilst I'm new to photography I'm an old hand at satellite communications, data networking, fibre optics and Audio/Visual so feel free to ask. In the mean time thanks for the help I have received so far regarding a Pentax O-RC1 remote that I know wish I hadn't purchased as you can't easily replace the battery and for just shy of £30 a year ago I'm gutted, but saved from buying another. Thanks Docrwm.

Hi Docrwm, many thanks for your reply. Have a happy new year too. I own a Pentax K7 and now a Pentax Q; I'm a newbie keen amateur wanting to learn as much as possible so if you have any recommendations re zoom lenses for the 'Q' it would be greatfully received. Happy photographing. 😄

Thank you for the information, totally gutted the O-RC1 is brilliant. It's a shame they do tell you about the battery replacing issue before purchase. I will look to purchase your recommendation in the UK. Again thanks for your help. Gvipo

Can anyone help in need to replace the battery in an O-RC1. I have removed the 4 small screws on the back but the unit doesn't come apart still can anyone offer advice please? Thanks
