Iam a novice K10 user and have read in other threads of focusing problems with action shots. I took these with 55-200 kit lens late evening against a setting sun. IMHO I cannot see any problem. What do you guys think. Cheers Josh.

Have to use my left eye at the moment due to a recent cateract removal from my normal shooting right eye and its just plain weird. I cannot get used to this, be glad when I get back to normal.
P.S. What do you call a blind dinosaur? Doyouthinkhesawrus, and his dog? Doyouthinkhesawrusrex.
Cheers Josh.

Thanks for your structured comments. I agree with you, however the night shot of St Peters was taken from a moving bus, the driver could!nt stop. The boy was drinking the fountain water, apparently it is now safe?. Obviously on such a trip I took loads more shots and will try your tip of adjusting the night shot in levels. I am thrilled with the K 10 performance in low light situations, inside church buildings etc, where flash was not allowed and a tripod not practical. I have just returned from this short break and will post some more after tweaking them. Cheers Josh.

Hi All, The following were my first shots with my new K10, all shot in raw with the two kit lenses. They depict Nash Point Lighthouse, South Wales, U.K. Your comments would be most welcome,
Cheers, Josh.

Hi Gang, Just wanted to know if anyone has used Adobes new Elements 6 with the K10 and how they rate it. Also does it support Raw PEF and DNG.
Cheers, Josh.

Hi; I am looking for help to let me set up to shoot in raw and save settings in user mode in K10. Instead of hitting raw button to save raw plus jpeg. Cannot get the knack of this setting from the manual.
Cheers, Josh.

As a new user of K10 I would appreciate some advice as to a good software package for importing and converting raw files from this camera. I have Potoshop 7 which I do not find user friendly or fast. It does not open my raw files in DNG.
Cheers, Josh.

I could not agree more. However here in the UK when the R.R.P for the K20 is double the price of the K10,I cannot see the justifcation for this, for not a quantum leap into higher specification. That is why I went and purchased the K10.

Hi Gooshin. No offence taken as Offertonhatter states it costs more for these products in U.K. k20 prices I quoted are manufacturers R.R.P. as published in photo mags over here i.e. Amature Photographer Mag. From experience these prices will not b e far off for the first six months or so from initial launch.
Cheers Josh.

Hi All,
Just to introduce myself as a newbie and like many others I suppose have been waiting on the fence to purchase K10 or K20. Prices quoted for K20 body only in UK £900. I am sure this will be another great camera. However for £450 got new K10 with 18-55 lens. Price clinched it for me. K10 is becoming like gold dust in UK ,for past few days have tried many stores and web sites-all sold out and could not give any restocking dates. So come on anyone on the fence for K10 before its to late.
Cheers Josh.
