Thanks J, yea I may end up with one of each if I can find a good lens. I'm starting with the 1.7 version first though.

Thanks J, it's coming with the F2 lens, but reading here on the lens reveiw forums, the F1.7 or F1.4 might be a better choice. They seem pretty reasonable price wise. Anything to be aware of with these two lens.

Hi all, waiting on a KX film camera to come in, and actively looking for a 135 to go with it. I've mostly shot Nikon's over the years and have a stable of film cameras from them. I shot my grandson with a spotmatic f and 50 SMC 1.4 quite a few years ago and like a dummy sold it. That lens combined with the Reala film (sadly gone in 35mm format) was a great combination. I did try a K1000 one time but it had so many problems that I sold it for cheap, but the KX is supposed to be working normally and I have a 14 day return window, so we'll see. I want to see the different results with the pentax vs a F3 in 50mm shots. Great forums here. Been lurking about for years seems like, so here I am. Thanks to all who keep it nice and clean, without the animosity of other forums.
