I am very pleased with the tamron on my K-1. It is sharper than my 28-105 pentax lens.

They lifted the hood for a short while and we could have an unobstructed peek at the body itself.

Confusing....the Dutch representative of Ricoh said he brought this one from the Japanese exhibition and apparently there are only three copies

Great shot. Had the opportunity to take pictures there during the summer many years ago.The snow adds extra character.

Thanks! I love the combination of the K-3 and Sigma 300mm. It produces fine images, sometimes😉.

Stunning. Been to Queensland many times. On holiday coming from the Netherlands. Next time I must make sure to be in the right place at the right early time. 😊

I use a rubber hood for the FA50 and I like it a lot because I'm convinced that it improves IQ and it can stay on the lens in the bag because you can fold it back.

Beautiful dunnock sitting still for a very brief moment, just long enough to capture it in my backyard.

Last thursday a severe storm hit the Netherlands. A tree landed in our front garden. The next day, to my surprise, a sparrow hawk landed in the former treetops, right in front of our house. I managed to get some shots through the front window. K-3 en Sigma 300mm are excellent compagnions.
Cheers, Ron

Thanks for all the responses. It hasn't brought me any closer to a decision but, on the other hand, there's no rush.

I'm thinking about buying a 15mm lens for my K-1. The Irix seems attractive but what about Sigma's 15mm 2.8 AF?
Any advice?

I am very pleased with my Sigma
24mm 1.8 on my K-1. But I can also imagine you being happy as a 100% Pentax owner. ENJOY!
