Just getting back into photography again after starting out with a K1000, darkroom, etc, many years ago. Recently bought a K-x, which seems like a good performance/price combination, and yes, it's the same story over here in the shops with the Canon-Nikon duopoly. What is it with that? I think someone needs to get the anti-trust / anti-monopoly guys onto this - it's obviously some kind of dutch auction (or whatever the expression is).
