As warrensheng said it, it would work great on my Pentax MX with a Foma 100 black and white film. Also on my K-500 but definitely on the MX.

My favorite film Pentax is a ME. It is lightweight and has an Av semi automatic mode, and a huge viewfinder. A really handsome camera also.

I think duct tape could act like a digital conversion kit. Put some on the LCD, and on the mode wheel to make it stick to Manual mode. Presto! a digital K1000. Except for the viewfinder.
