Add me to the list as well. I'd love to buy a Pentax 50-135 mm lens but not at today's prices.

Great pics. Your pooch remind me of our daughter's pug. Sorry if that offends, since it's not my intent to do so. Here is a link to see the pug. Enjoy! -Paul :-)

I like all of these, but most of all the green dragon fly, since it is my favorite insect. When I ride on our lawn tractor, mowing about 2 acres of weeds, hundreds of dragon flies buzz me, land on me, stare me in the face, etc. I just love it. Thanks for posting. -Paul :-)

You're most welcome and thank you for looking. You hit the nail on the head with your favorite shot, since that also is my favorite. I plan to have it matted and framed. I have five years to go before retirement, and I'm counting the days.

I don't get down your way too often, but occasionally we get down to see our daughter who lives in Hoboken, NJ. I'm amazed at the wonderful renewal Hoboken is undergoing. I really like visiting there each time we go. Take care. -Paul :-)

Because Saturday, 7/5/08, was such a lovely day, I drove to the coast and out onto Deer Isle to spend several hours shooting pictures of what I consider to be one of the most beautiful spots in Maine. The weather cooperated with lots of sun and puffy clouds, a temperature of 72 degrees and very gentle winds.

EXIF info is embedded in each picture. All shots were taken with polarizing filters using either a Sigma 17 - 70 mm macro or a Pentax 80 - 320 mm lens. Hope you enjoy seeing the pictures as much as I did taking them. C&C welcome. -Paul :-)

The first few pictures look across Eggemoggin Reach and zoom in on the suspension bridge.

The next few pictures show coves and inlets on Deer Isle.

The next two pictures show Stonington, ME's working harbor.

The final three pictures are of a quiet, lilly pond just outside of Stonington, ME.

Thanks for looking. Before I became interested in photography, I recall seeing a lunar moth that must have been 6 inches across with wings open. I try not to miss such opportunities now. Cheers. -Paul :-)

Superb! Pics #s 1 and 2 look to me like the fly is ready to take off and land on me. Also, that Tamron 90 mm lens is the greatest. -Paul
