I would like to read up how it all started with pentax binoculars, all the models that where ever produced the plus and negatives of each model
this is the website where all that information should be stored, do we need a voting system to get interest?

I put out a message a few days ago and there seems to be interest in having a binocular thread, just a basic generic one and if it takes off we can add sub-folders.
Pentax has a rich history in Binoculars dating back many years this should be acknowledged..

Same, I have about 30 pairs of vintage Zeiss Pentax ect it's a bug for me at the minute 😔 but sad to see we have no historical information on Pentax, the early Japanese ones had some amazing glass in them.

Thanks for the reply,
So much history in Pentax binoculars it's a shame nobody has pushed this side of the hobby, well I would like to give it a push and see what happens, maybe start with a generic Pentax Binoculars then break it down to sub folders if we get interest.

Just looked down the side bar and can see no dedicated site for binoculars or have I just missed it🤔 l am wanting to read up from early days all models that pentax have made, can anybody point me in the rite direction.

never did get out with my k5 much be lucky if i took 200 pictures with it, got plans getting the k1 now so i must make time to get out and get it used, every now and again i log in and see some of the photos you fellas are taking and it gets me going again, lets hope get some nice weather for my scotland trip next week to try my new/old lenses out :)

Ok SMC Pentax-M 50mm same lens but one says made japan other twain apart from different writing at top of lens will there be any other difference ?

picked up these 3 primes today pentax 50mm 1:17 and a 1:2 and this old Kiron 28mm f2 i have read good reviews on it so looking forward to taking a few pictures tomorrow,, got the 3 for £20.00

only thing makes me think its not 1:2 is have them lens not got 2 rows on the focus ring this one seems have 3 ?

just ordered my k5 which should be with me tomorrow, last camera was a canon450d but started with a pentax me super that I loved hence why I have looked to see what pentax are up to now, looking forward to reading all the tips from this site also need help with a good lens for this camera!
