obligatory second post so i can send someone a private message to try and purchase a camera lol. I look forward to learning and am trying to decide if I want to take a day class on photography or try and explore it using these forums and other online material.

I am an central oregon native who would like to mess around a little bit with photography. I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors and would like to be able to share experiences with friends besides word of mouth.
