I have owned 3 different Q cameras and all have suffered from the "washout" effect when using this setting. I have tried different settings to no avail and need help from my cohorts. Thanks in advance, schmally

I listed earlier but am having recurring health issues with recent open heart and accident. I do not use Sigma 180 due to its relative size. I use Tamron 90 for macro. The Canon was purchased before heart surgery and I used it sparingly. Usually I use the K7 and decided the Canon would serve someone else better then I. Please contact if interested. Sorry to have given the wrong impression of myself. I really appreciate this forum and due to other "life" responsibilities I have been absent for approx. six months. Upon my return, I seem to have been sensitized to this person who answers in a rude and somewhat condescending manner. My surprise at his needless response caused an unnecessary reaction. Please accept my sincere apology. I have multiple degrees in the sciences and do see some promise in his thought processes!

After six anxious weeks my K-7 outfit arrived yesterday at my local camera shop- I love it so far! But, how do you load a 190 battery into the grip? I see the AA trays but can not figure out the other. Thanks for your help. Schmally

This is one of 10 lenses plus a K20D that I purchased in a "fog and frenzy"!! I have sold 3 and wish to sell this one to finance a Pentax DA 300mm. I purchased this at a local dealer and know that I paid more then I am asking. This lens has not been used and has all papers etc. I am asking 425.00 + 10.00 shipping in USA. The weather is atrocious here with clouds and much rain. I have taken a few exploratory shots and it is very sharp and the colors are accurate. We are in another downpour for the next 36 hours. I can say that I am having a "lensathon" sensory overload!! I just picked up a 40 and 70 limited so that I will have some reference point to share. If you are thinking of the Tamron , I would not hesitate buying it. My Pentax dealer thinks it is worthy and gives it a thumbs up. schmally

I have made friends and received excellent advice thus far during my short association with the "fora". (ol' bio. teacher) I have purchased a K20D, 40ltd.,70ltd., 16 zenitar, 500mm opteka, 100mm macro. phoenix, 70-300 tamron, and a 1.5 ext. kenko in the past month!!!!! I sold all of my 15yr. collection of minolta film equip. to finance my "submersion" into the Pentax community. I would like to ask all of you what ideas or suggestions you may have to "complete" my mini collection to augment my wide angle lens LBA. All ideas will be meticulously and secretly studied. My wife still thinks I only have one pistol too!!. Really enjoy reading and learning from each posting. Please keep keep up the awesome work. :(Mr. Lotstolearn here. I have the above lens and when I switch the f stop to anything but A the K20 will not shoot a picture. What am I doing/not doing?? It will work only on auto setting. BTW it is manual focus only. thanks to all.
