The cafe was shot from a vehicle whizzing past at ~45 mph. I'm impressed with this camera!

Before I made the decision to buy a K-5, I rented one. I'd strongly encourage you to look into that, especially if you have some potential paying work.

I'm a newbie to these forums, so forgive me if I'm breaking the rules by including a link. But, if it's cool, here's who I rented from. Inexpensive and painless:

Hello!

I switched to a K-5 from a Canon 5DII in September. I loved my 5D, but it was BIG!!

So far, I've just been using my K-5 with the 18-55WR kit lens, and the 50(or 55?)-300. Really liking it, so far! (Including a couple of snaps from the K-5's first trip: to New Mexico, in September.)
