To all: Thanks for the kind words. Once a Pentaxian always a Pentaxian!!
Switched to Sony. Been an adjustment to say the least. ---------- Post added 07-13-19 at 01:48 PM ----------
Employer did pay for the lights though... made the camera switch a little easier to swallow. ---------- Post added 07-13-19 at 01:51 PM ----------
:) Thanks Mike, took me a few months to fully jump, I was balancing the two systems at once for a few weeks. Had to pick a side for my own sanity for sure.

I unfortunately sold the rest of my Pentax gear yesterday evening. As I've gone to strobes and needed HSS for work, I found myself having to detach my emotions from my love for Pentax.
I have not been one to post much in this forum, but thank you all for the great content and advice. I will continue to browse PF but I unfortunately am no longer a true Pentaxian.
To my K-1, 31mm, 55mm... you fought with me until the very end. I will miss you dearly. Fortunately, they have landed in safe hands of a fellow Pentaxian, who said he frequents Pentax Forums.
Cheers,
Steve

Last winter when I was in Europe for about four weeks with a backpack and one carry-on roller, I had my K-3 with my DA 20-40 and DA* 55mm. It does help that I know I hate shooting anything above 80mm (unless for portraits) so I didn't bother with the big telephoto lenses.
As of late, the K-3 is gone and the K-1 is in the bag. I've gone trips with just the 55 and shoot any wide-angles or landscapes with my iPhone.
With your kit I'd go...
K-30 + 35 + 18-55 WR
