And another one: I will definitely NOT be buying it if it has no internal AF motor. Again, I doubt Pentax-Ricoh would pull a stupid that badly, but if, by any chance, they decide to go Canon on us and say "only motor ALL the lenses" I'll flip shit.

I will not buy the FF if it doesn't have built-in SR .... 99% sure it does, as the two new lenses don't have it built-in, but if there is no SR, I'm sticking with the K-3 and its children

Would probably be my FA* 24mm f/2 - My favourite lens to shoot on the K-3 and K-50 is the Rokinon 16mm f/2, so the same field of view on FF will be nice

I don't really know what's going on, other than the fact that you seem to want my squirrel photos...
So here is one of a squirrel 'flexing' at me - shot with the K-50 and 200mm f/2.8 lens

After rolling my kayak over with two cameras and two lenses, I placed all the equipment in a drying box with a heater (literally just a plastic crate layered with moisture-absorbing padding). I left the heater running on medium heat and just left it alone for about 30h. When I opened it up, all the water had evaporated from the cameras and lenses. Sadly, my K-5 had some ports opened when I rolled, so it got properly flushed and was completely dead, but the two lenses were saved, as was the K20D.
Remember that the kit WR lenses are meant to protect against anything up to heavy rainfall. You said that your kit got really REALLY wet, so you may have exceeded its sealing ability. There should be no water pooling in any of the joints... If you are often faced with such harsh conditions, you may want to invest in a lens that has a higher level of sealing (DA* or top-tier DA-WR).

I know the feeling: Rolling my kayak last summer killed my K-5 (the 200mm mounted on it survived, as did the K20D and the 16-50mm).
Its tough to lose something that you've grown so attached to. It starts to feel like an extension of your arm.
Best of luck with the K-3 ... And remember to keep a strap on that thing! :)

Got the 16-50mm DA* as well... same major fog problem exists where the inside of the front element fogs up like crazy... I solved this by closing the lens in the bathroom with the dehumidifier cranked up and a heater going for a whole day. No problems anymore... there must have been moisture stuck inside the lens for some reason but, if it can get it, it can get out. I now also keep a few packets of the dehumidifier beads you find packaged with shoes in my bag... Maybe it helps, maybe not but, you can never be too careful. Never had condensation under the LCD though... Strange.

Acer A501 running ICS with a K20D: Can take a shot, maybe 7. These shots are not saved in the camera's SD card and it freezes after the 6th shot... K-5 has better luck. 645D will only focus, crashes when I try a capture. Setting control doesn't work.
