Yes, I agree that for this one farther away would be better. Thanks for all your advice!

Ok, I will keep that in mind if I do a shoot like that again.
More like this or this?

Thanks for the feedback. In the desire one, I was going for the focus on the rough spot to contrast it with the perfection she's reaching for (so my focus was on purpose), but I see your point. Yeah I can probably edit out the glare. I have a lot more pictures from cross country (cause that's what I do), so I'll work on making sure those tell stories.
Thanks.

These are some of my personal favorites of photos I've taken... not edited. What do you think?
(Not all photos are Pentax-- some are from before my K-30, just Canon point and shoot).
girl looking at reflection, at the Aquarium (point and shoot)
little girl reaches for dripping water, at ski lodge (Pentax K-30)
"Desire" girl reaching for sky, in camera processing (point and shoot)
after the victory, cross country meet, reflection in trophy (Pentax K-30)
Honest feedback and critique?
I'm looking to improve my capturing of people, as I'm more of a nature kinda photographer.
Thank you!

Hi, I lost both of my snap-on Pentax lens caps that came with my two lenses... what are the best kind to buy and where?
Also I want to further protect my lenses with filters... I already have a UV one for my telephoto (it came with it), but what would be best for my kit lens (18-55mm)?
Thank you!!

Thank you for the suggestion. I will research that lens. However I am not sure if I am ready to go fully manual yet or not.

Hi, I love the idea of getting a good macro lens; I take a lot of nature shots that are macro, so that'd be perfect. Do you need a special adapter to use an off brand lens? (This is my first DSLR, and all I've use so far is a kit lens and Pentax telefoto)
Thanks for the welcome!

Hi there, I'm new to the forums. I read a few reviews and posts here before I bought my baby, my pride and joy, the Pentax K-30. :) I love it!! I am finally learning to shoot in manual. I am also curious about the best affordable lens for portraiture.
Nice to meet you!
