All are good, some are great. A few were really outstanding and blew me away. I do agree that not everyone hit the theme exactly on, but all were worth viewing.

Thank you for the input. I've tried increasing DOF slightly and a high contrast B&W version. If anyone has any additional critiques, don't hold back. :D

During a trip to Hawaii, I noticed the interesting texture on these plants and captured a number of images. I think this one was the best; although, it still didn't turn-out exactly the way I wanted, but can't figure out what I could do to make it better. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Taken with K10D, Sigma 70-300.
