Thank You! I've been shooting pentax since '09 and i'd hoped to see HSS Support from Flashpoint/Godox but they pulled the system before it was completed. I tried the Cactus V6ii rx/tx setup and was not happy with it. The K-1 has a ton of great features Pixel shift, GPS, Astrotracer, Dual Card Slots, articulating screen but all of those features I never use. OCF I use every single time I shoot and having a OCF system without an additional expense of more special triggers is more valuable to me. That was my main reason other than that the K-1 produced some beautiful work but third party support just isn't there.

I still had mine under warranty, so I went directly through the store. Possibly contacting Precision Camera Repair about the most expeditious way to get the camera repaired. It took mine about a month and a half to come because the parts were on back order.

Are you able to switch the modes via the mode dial? If not, you are experiencing a known failure in the K-1. I experienced this with my K-1, only mode available was Manual mode, nothing else regardless of where I moved the dial.

I am selling my Pentax K-1, I've been shooting Pentax for about 6 years but I have a great deal on a Sony A7RII that is difficult to pass up.
I've had the K-1 for about 6 months and currently has approx 7000 shutter clicks, it has a couple of scratches on the bottom (strictly cosmetic)
I would prefer to sell locally in the Seattle area, so the new owner can take advantage of the Services offered by Robi Camera in Lakewood, WA., where I purchased the Camera but shipping is not a problem.
Camera comes with all the original pieces, paperwork, box, receipt etc.
Lenses in photo will be up for sale once K-1 is sold.

I used a 8-Stop ND Filter which allowed me to get down to 1/200th of a second to be able to fire the flash unit and I used a YN-560TX to fire the flash.

I was patiently waiting for this system, HSS is great. That being said, selling my K-1 and primes has become quite the reality to have a legitimate HSS system. Sigh...

I had this same problem with my K-1, turned into the store I bought it and was back in a little longer than a month. Sadly, this seems to be a common problem.
