Doubtful.
I just read the news on a german webpage that the new NX - system has nothing to do with Pentax in the slightest sense... even the lenses are developed and produced bei "Optron-Tec Inc".. a korean company. Well, they have announced earlier that they will use "a homemade design" (I don't remember the specific words in the interview any more..) but never disclosed the company... until now.
(Original new.. in German, so beware... ;) )

There's speculation that the whole relationship between Samsung and Pentax is not the best anymore.

Somewhat unlikely.. these specs.
In Germany the photo-dealers (..at least one of them) say that Samsung Germany itself never heard of a camera with such specs.. hmm. Before the whole rumour came up, the usual statement you got from the dealers was: " SAMSUNG quits DSLR business alltogether.. and concentrate on their NX effort".

Like I thought... all the potential buyers waiting for for K100D and K10D to drop in price any further play a dangerous game...
Same here with my Samsung GX10 order.. "out of stock", "waiting for delivery" and so on...
I'm more than happy that I've got my GX10 now....

Well, German is my native language, but I don't get it...
So, the 18 - 55 kit lens Schneider-Kreuznach is NOT the same as the 18 - 55 Pentax ?
Just "similar due to the constraints imposed by the design of the camera"?
But the same "Made in Vietnam" and the same specs otherwise.. Just coincidence...
I have my doubts.
EDIT: Well, the article is rather old.. and has lot of comments of german readers. The same doubts here, to say the least, they are even furious remarks about "modern marketing bullsh*t"...
