@Qwntm I'm lurking on youtube waiting for new video ;) maybe you could make some roadmap ;). Very good stuff indeed, also if requests are permitted (even if they are not ;)) ... I would like to hear more about techniques, full simple / begginers things from your perspective, I liked one about using flash on weddings; simple but very clear on using brain when you shot. I know ultimately as many stated best school is pressing the trigger ;) .. but still to know what to look at, and think about what you do is necessary.

Those photouniverse videos from Ed were one of the reasons to switch from canon to pentax ... I'm amateur with some passion and shooting whenever I can for 6-7 years now. I was shooting 5 and a half years with canon 350D with kit 18-55 II it's a great camera. I can understand Ed who is professional photographer for I think 38 years or something like that. I can understand that he's almost religious about Pentax ;) but also someone who watched all his videos will see that he still has 5D MIII if needed. I have K5 for a month ... I love it ;) have "only" kits but they are shart and nice as often said decent preformers ;) ...

Thanks everyone ... Still getting used to K5 ... I had initial shock and didn't know what to think, also before this I was shooting my 6 years old 350D (and from last summer 400D) and this was something new ... completly new shooting expirience ;) ...

I use ACDSEE Pro 6.0, I'm not so demanding, yet, and it's a good piece of software. I tried lightroom, Raw therapee, Corels Aftershot pro, Camera one, and DxO ;) ... but decided for ACDSEE, on sale it's not so expensive, and I like photo management, also not so bad other options and it has development mode (I don't like libraries and importing of photos).

Hi Dynymo, ATM, can't afford them ... But looking forward ... I'm searching some cheap 50mm or used 35/2.4 ... I'll need to wait a year / year.5 ... to build some budget for some top lens ;( ...

I usually shot RAW for few years now, but until recently I was Canon 400D with good (best buy) glasses 17-85IS, 50/1.8 and 75/300 III USM, all good very good IQ. When I switched to Pentax K5 my RAW quality at first seemed lower then my 6 years old camera, then I figured I need postprocessing, not sure if Canon did some basic processing of RAW in camera like little bit of sharpness or something. Anyhow, does someone has some basic tips in K5 RAW postprocessing ??

Hi Everyone,
just crossed over from Canon 400D (17-85, 50/1.8 and 75-300) to Pentax K5 with kits 18-55 and 50-200... Needed some time to ajust, missing good glass and 50 from Canon....
