I have problem with my K20D, I didn't drop mine, but the knob to open the SD card door broke off. So i have no way to open the door. Thank god for the pc cable so I can still download the images. I'm hoping the card doesn't go bad anytime soon. Any ideas on fixing this or getting the door open.

I like the design way better then the KS-1. But being poor as I am, I'll be sticking with my K20D for many more years. being a Pentax it will last. Maybe someday my friend will buy the new FF and sell me his K-3 for a good price like sold me the K20D I own now.

C.P. Holiday train at the Amtrak Depot in Sturtevant, WI . There had to be hunderds of people there, the nice thing about it most of the people with little kids didn't stay long so I could get up close.

Everything I do in Photography is low cost from my used K20D I paid about $300.00 for it. Now for all my used lens from $27.00 for a Sigma 28-90mm to my Sigma 150-400mm for $100.00. I have other lens but none cost over $100.00. I use the Sigma 28-90mm a lot and it's great lens for $27.00. This photo of a Mushroom is with the Sigma 28-90mm.

You got it very close it was hazy day. I'm somewhat new at using software adjustment. But I'm always learning more and love to hear from others. All my past dogs came from shelters too.

Mike (Wolvesrule) – Where are the squirrels : What a handsome boy Scooby is! I love how he blends in with the leaves, his confident stance and his intense gaze as he hunts the evil enemy. The composition is nice as you left room for him to look out of the frame, tree beside him acting as an anchor. I see some post processing potential here to bump the shadows and lighten the mid-tones, bringing out his eyes and muzzle, as well, I’d add colour saturation and a touch of vibrancy to showoff his reddish orange coat. (Curiosity got the better of me and I gave it a go if you want to see my results.) A lovely dog with a lot of gameness in his stance and stare.

Thank you for your thoughts, yes I would like to see your results of my photograph of Scooby. Scooby is a shelter dog, who had a hard life. I wish I could have won, maybe next time.
