Thank you all ! I did try to convey how Venice felt to me at night. I felt it was a very somber, specially walking around narrower streets ! Yet charming, as every single light played a key role showcasing the shape of the city.

Haha i m pretty new to the forum i wanted to answer all of you one by one but it will be quicker just to do one message.
First of all thank you all for your comments i find it amazing so many quick replies. I am very happy with the comments and how constructive they are, there are so many things that as an inexperienced photographer you don't really see and I completely agree with you Phoenixvision is very important to explore as many possibilities of the same scene. It is sadly something that i don't do often enough. So reading through the suggestions I did a quick adjustment in lightroom with what was a possible to adjust( small cropping, WB, black and white, vignetting ), there is some kind of purple in the shadows(mainly the line between the face and her hair) but I was unable to really fix it...
Please let me know what you think of this new version partly done by you :)

Thank you, haha I wish I had the legendary FA 85mm but I am very happy with the 77 mm. She did pose very naturally but I did help pose her a little asking her to chin up slightly, but yes what i really liked about this fast photo shoot was the spontaneous aspect of it.

Hi,
This was a shot taken while shopping around downtown Montreal. In one of the many alleys, the sun was hitting a white wall and reflecting this light into the brick wall in front, creating a very filling light. I quickly asked my girlfriend if she would like to pose for a picture and the picture below is the result after 3 or 4 trials. I would like to know how to improve the picture in better circumstances, how to make an amazing portrait and not just a good portrait. Is important to mention that she has no experience modeling and I am not a pro photographer. I am always amazed by some incredible portraits online. So I would like to know what do you think of the photo and what could have been done better.
ps: there is some post processing but very small mainly sharpness contrast and a little bit of softening on her skin.
Thank you

Hi there,
Recently my Pentax k-5 began having some troubles. I bought it exactly a year ago and lately the mirror happens to get stuck. How it happens is that I take a picture and everything freezes, I am unable to do anything , I have to take off the battery and then the mirror closes. As well, sometimes I hit the shutter and the it doesn't save the picture, instead the screen is green, the way I have to solve this is to take out the memory card and put it back in. This has happened with different memory cards
There hasn't been any significant hit to the camera or anything similar .
Thanks for the help.
