It's been a little bit since I posted anything. Here is a little shot of my favorite model, my granddaughter.
This was on one of the first trip out with my newly acquired sigma 50mm ex dg prime. Been calibrating it and its almost track sharp at lower apertures right now and will definitely keep this one even if it means sending it to sigma with the body. Too good already. It's a Super Multi Coated Tak, I understand the S-M-C is a completely different version. Is that right? and What is the difference between this one here, a Super Tak, the Super Multi Coated and the S-M-C Tak's on the 50mm f/1.4 flavor? Thanks

Thanks ILLmatic173! I am in Reading, PA btw, you may know it, since you are in NYC. The 2 last shots are nothing special in terms of execution. The first of the church entrance was a bleepy di bleep! across the side walk of course there was a mound of knee deep snow that you would have seen if I tilted the camera down a little bit, and in there I placed my flash and then took the photograph from across the street. Had to move around, and do a bunch of different movements because the flash didn't want to trigger with the heavy snow and howling winds. Took 6-7 shots and 1 would fire, see the light, go across the street, adjust the level of the flash and do it again! lol
But well worth it if I say myself.
*Thanks Tsuken, I thought that one was one of the nicer showing the context of how much it has fallen.

i am Puertorican not Mexican, he was correct in calling me Jose for the neutral criticism I gave him a couple of post back. Yeah Pepe, not all about you! Of course I am just teasing on that one ok! Don't take it personal or nothing ok! lol
C'mon ILLmatic say something to Pepe he was polite and said "you are welcome" to you! Still teasing... Have to make sure because some things don't translate too good over the interwebs! ---------- Post added 02-10-14 at 11:28 PM ----------
BTW Pepe is that a Dos Equis XX I see on the background? lol Stay thirsty my friends!

Snow? Don't talk to me about snow. For my area in around 3 day they are contemplating 14+ inches... ohh and I already spy a lot of it still on the ground from the February 2nd storm. Ricardo. by Jose M. Torres-Lopez, on Flickr

This picture is awesome, butterfingerlickingsmooth B B B Bokeh!!!!
Mines are shot mostly with the kit 18-55mm and some with my... wait for it... breathing in... SuperMultiCoatedTakumar 50mm f/1.4 uffffffffff there! Amazing quality from all of these photographers let's everybody know that most Pentax products have to be super user friendly.
Love this, just wished you panned a little bit more to the left so the flower/sculpture was where the light next to it is now. That way we get more of the main building behind the sculpture. But that's just me. Wonderful, I hope you had fun with it, as I have been having fun with it also! ---------- Post added 02-10-14 at 01:05 PM ---------- This is the third and last image of the series from the Ricardo story. A couple of days back I posted a picture with the subject being a tent in a snow storm, cause quite a stir within my FB friends and friends of friends so I decided to follow it up and make like I was a reporter and get his story out there (With his permission of course). Click the image to go to it on Flickr, it's part of a set called Ricardo. On the page set, I posted his story from my recollection of a 15-20 minute talk I had with him yesterday. Please read it and let me know what you think here or there if you use flickr. Thanks to all my Pentaxians. Ricardo. by Jose M. Torres-Lopez, on Flickr

BTW this is the other shot I got from the day I saw the tent on the snow storm. Since then I was able to speak to the person inside the tent as I was curious on the story that got him where he is at today. I have 2 images in a set on Flickr with another one coming tonight, but I already put on the description of the set his story. Pardon the grammar, but bear with it and you may be amazed how much some people through on our own backyards. This is the second of the images of the tent. Homeless in the snow storm 2. by Jose M. I wish I could have gotten a head peeking out of the tent. But I didn't knock the door and wasn't about to :o
Love your photo and the tonality of the greys. Poor guy with suitcase out and all.
Tell me about it. We still have snow from the storm in the photograph, and that was on the 2nd!!!!
Thanks! I am getting better at them moments. I was lucky that this dude was creeping behind me on this trail and I shot 1 frame where it was just the tent, he passed by and I was going to keep on, but then I saw the frame and 1 more click and it was over. I got to get better at getting all I want in a frame, this was heavily cropped, still I am glad it has gotten the attention here, in flickr and on the book.
Thanks! feel free to do that. How a song can become a classic without anybody knowing/listening to it. Feel free my friend, I always do the same with photographs that intrigue me.
Could not have tittle it better. Lovely tones.

Maybe if they insist on the hand sliding in the pocket make them put the thumbs in and rest of hand out? Would that be preferable to hands on pockets? Even though i don't think I'll be seeing much of that here in P.R. with the nice weather in here.

It's coming. I now have a situation in which my main PC with LR isn't connected to the net but my laptop is, so i was taking care of that and now to bring that image over. Love the enthusiasm though! :)
Precisely, I am the father.
To his credit, it was a cold day and it was already a couple of minutes till the sun wasn't watchable in the sky. It was cold for some reason.

Would it have the same compression of the BG or close to it if I choose my tak 50mm 1.4 lens??? I ask because my thought for this shot was compressing the background a bit to add that layer of road you guys seem to dislike a little as a nice rounder feature in the shoot and automatically picked the longest lens i own. The tak 135mm
I am going to try it and will eventually post it here to see, even though the road was part of my frame of thought when I shot this. You learn something everyday and too many people say to cut it, so I'll try and check it out.
Sorry LOL you really got me on that boyfriend daughter there!!! English is not my primary language, but I should have seen that one before I posted it. Too funny. :D
