WIll have to use this for shooting video too (I got here searching for how to lock the white balance for video).
The WB hunting while shooting video is really bad - quite unusable. Even with just one guy standing in front of a green screen - moving slightly.
So I just need to set the current white balance as a preset and also set the setting discussed below (no fine tuning WB) and I should be good to go.

Thanks, I just had this problem too (K7).
I still can't get it on.
It's certainly a bad design (though not technically a fault maybe).
The usability of this thing practically begs you to get it wrong.
It's "guesses & giggles" as far as I can tell. I keep winding until it gets stuck - realizing something's not right & trying a few times until it seems to fit.
And it burns your fingers either way.
I find it very hard to believe anyone could just pick this up, slap it on, and have no problems whatsoever.

Shutter speed was actually 1/800s but I couldn't select it.
Cropped some for shape and a tiny bit of contrast added.

Sorry to keep on adding, but I should have added, this is my first ever attachment upload - I have no other files attached. The limit is said to be 4MB.
I'm uploading one file, that is 328.1Kb.
So the mystery of what's being exceeded remains ;-)

Sorry I didn't state the size in Kb.
My file is 1280x853 and 328.1Kb
The size limits are 1MB and 1280x1024.
I can't see anything being exceeded and yet the file was resize to less than half it's original (128Kb).

I'm uploading a 1280x853 JPEG, but when it's uploaded it reports it as 128kb.
Can anyone tell me what happened to the file?
