Pentax comes out with more advanced video ability, and no articulating screen ... are they nuts !
Lets see if the new K-3 has tethering, I hope so !
So far I'm not to impressed !

A FF that you could switch to APS-C if you choose.
As an example, if your using an 100mm FF lens and switch to APS-C it becomes a 150mm. Of course it would have less megapixels and all the characteristics of a regular APS-C camera.
No other manufacturer has this I think, and it would be great for all us APS-C users.

IMHO, it was revolutionary.
The K-7 has features my K20D does not, except one .... image quality when used as a camera.
It has better video, by far, a nicer body, and a better feature set.
The K-5 on the other hand has the same body as the K-7, but the sensor blows the doors off everything out there, and blows the door off the K-7 by light years.
The K-5 is everything the K-7 should have been ..... the only trouble was the sensor used in the K-5 was not invented at that time.

Pardon me, did you try already !
You have been preaching doom and gloom since some of the info has been leaked, well I'm broken hearted that you are disappointed, maybe Pentax should have hired you as an adviser so there would be no video, no HDR, 89 AF points, 6 mega pixels, would have an ISO range of 80-400, and the camera could be large as a house !
Better yet, instead of complaining and moaning, why don't you get some investors together and build your own camera, I'm sure you can do better than Pentax, as a matter of fact I don't think there is a camera company on the planet that could compete with the "ogl" camera.
The only problem is only one person would buy it ... care to guess who that would be ?
