ALL your pictures are properly exposed for the settings chosen. The white is exposed for gray as it should.

Just so you know, the camera expose for neutral gray and it's the user job to compensate for it. First pictures were on spot metering and the white jacket is in the middle of the screen. The white wall is all around the subject in matrix metering which fool the meter, etc.

Your camera is fine but yourself, you need to learn the basic of photography. I suggest you go buy a book and learn the camera manual.

we don't know what are your needs. If you just need to buy something, I hear that walmart see nice swimsuits for the summer...

Your line-up cover everything but tele and maybe low light ? Do you have strobes ? Why not spend that money in studio equipment over new lenses if you don't already have those ?

As I say before, we don't know what are your needs. If I was in your shoes with my currents needs, i'd sell everything and buy a 31mm or a zeiss 35 mm and a macro tele lens and and would cover 90% of my needs. But i'm not you!

what do you need ?

UV filters: Good or bad?

imo, it's USELESS AGAINS'T THE USUAL DUST OR FINGERPRINTS if you're using one to make your lens last longer.

Now if you go in places where the air or the environment have alot of let's say sand? metal particles?, using an UV filter is wise.

otherwise it's useless. It won't effect the quality of most of your pictures but once in a while it will ghost etc. If that happen on a shot that would have been a zinger, you'll be quite pissed.

I hope they will! Not that I would buy any(i'm using old cheap sb-28 flashes) but hey, the 540 is old and consumer want to buy new stuff. Everything new from pentax mean more potential attention from consumers and it's what they need at this point; attention.

I wish someone could create a flash with built in high end lightmeter.

CNET K20d review 8.0/10

I'm tired of reading reviews but from the summary :

The bad: Slightly inaccurate colors; shake reduction could be more effective.

Color inaccuracy is normal with any camera since the ccd you have in your sample is slightly different then the one used by the software compagny to build the camera profile in their raw converter. Calibrate your camera to compensate for the profile of the software and you'll get near 100% color accuracy with any dslr.

"Shake reduction could be more effective". Are they really complaining because something good isn't good enough ? Hey my boss gave me a 10% raise but since it could be more I might just change job. If they removed let's say 5% from the K20D rating for that, they may as well remove 20% for nikon and canon that don't have the feature.
