Unless you are comfortable carrying the extra weight and changing lenses on the fly, keep the 18-135 and get the most out of that. I doubt you will need another lens where your phone wouldn't do the job almost as well, ie panoramas, self portraits, and those spherical picture things that try to emulate the theta.
If you want to take another lens and are comfortable with the extra weight, hassle of an extra lens on holiday, and changing lenses on the fly; it looks like you have a few great primes in your arsenal. Take one along, they are small, lightweight and give you both better bokeh and more light.
Keep in mind that if you do take another lens or two that you will be either carrying it everywhere you go, or wishing you had it with you if you leave it in the car, hotel room, or worse yet, cab.
That being said this is exactly opposite of what I typically do. I usually pack heavy and take 3-4 lenses and decide each day what I want to take out with me. :hmm:

Although it looks like the OP has made their decision, others might have the same concerns so here is what the manual says regarding the tethering discussion; Page 93 of the manual states you can perform wired tethering but you need to get the optional software.
"You can perform tethered shooting with the camera connected
to a computer using the optional “IMAGE Transmitter 2”
software. Captured images can be directly saved to the
computer"
That being said I don't have experience actually using it so I don't know if it would work in your specific circumstances.

Personal opinion, but I would say it is a decent shot that could use a little post work. Just turn down the highlights and turn up the darks and adjust the vibrancy a little and you would have a photo that pops a bit more. The sky won't be as washed out and you can get some more detail in the trees. If you had a tripod at the time you could increase the shutter speed to blur the water and get rid of any people in the background but there is no adjusting that now. Good job.

I have the K-30 with 2 lens wr setup 18-55 and 50-200. I find myself having to change lenses fairly often and wish at times that I had gone for the 18-135. That being said the two lens setup is cheaper with a slightly longer reach. Just depends on how much you like to change focal lengths. I can get by with one or the other of my lenses but my first camera was a superzoom compact that had a 20x zoom. Old habits die hard.

I am using the K-30 with old Takumars and it works without the green button. I am not sure why or how it works, but I simply set the aperture and the range of iso (i.e. 100-800) that I want to use, set the camera to manual and start shooting. The camera sets the shutter speed and I just keep an eye on it to make sure my hand holding stays steady enough.
From my understanding it may be because the camera cannot know what the aperture is because it doesn't move any levers with the old m42 lenses. Because of this, the camera accepts the light reading it gets and chooses from the iso range and sets a shutter speed.
Yeah for old glass!

If you have the English version of the manual you will want to take a look at pages 94 and 167.
Basically the AF/AE-L button (default is AF auto focus) allows you to set either the exposure or the focus for the picture you are going to take. If you set it to AE-L (as soon as I learned of this I changed the default to Auto Exposure-Lock) then it locks in the exposure allowing a half press of the shutter release button to be your auto focus. This means if you want to set your exposure and recompose and/or set your focus and recompose, you can. There is a you tube video that might help explain it and many other features of a dslr.

(15 features of your dslr that every photographer should know) As a novice K30 user myself, this type of video along with the user manual have been amazing. The more I discover, the more I realize how good a choice I made in getting the K30!
This helps in uneven lighting situations, when you have something, light like a wedding dress, beside something dark like a tuxedo you can point the camera more towards the wedding dress, set the exposure using the AE-L button, then recompose and autofocus on the couple and take the picture with the exposure set to the dress. Or if you are in a room with lots of windows, point your camera slightly down to get them out of the exposure metering, set your exposure and bring it back up to take a photo of the room rather than overexposing because of the windows. For landscapes it is great for setting your exposure to the mountain meadow rather than the bright sky behind it.
