Small report ...
May 9 in Russia celebrating Victory Day . It is a sad and at the same time joyful celebration . On this day, Russian remember their heroes. They go to the parade for those who died on the battlefield , died of wounds in hospitals, for those who were martyred in the concentration camps for the dead from cold and hunger , for those who could not live ... For they are the descendants - Immortal Regiment . Russia has lost in this war more than 20000000 man ... World War II ...

Both of these were shot with multiple exposures, using HDR Efex and then using Silver Efex to convert them to B and W.
These were the color shots that I got:

The 15 limited is just a great lens for landscape in general. I feel like you can pick your scene and given decent light, the 15 will make it look good. The 21 is a strong lens too, but remember that you can crop 15 to make 21, but not the other way around. :) The biggest weakness of the 15 is that it needs to be shot at f5.6 at least to have border sharpness. From what I have seen, the 21 is probably sharper at equivalent apertures.

Thanks! well it is an old tree as you have seen, but in either case lots of memories for sure especially considering that each neuron can have hundreds to thousands of synaptic connections and that there are close to 100billion neurons in that 3lb mass under our domes :) BTW photo was taken with the 10-17mm FE @ 10mm ...I am also using the samy 8mm here and there so as to assess which one of the two I will ultimately keep.
We got a brief lightning storm that passed by last night and I thought I would try my first attempts of capturing lightning which was fun until the mosquitoes found me :lol: ...also I need to hurry and get a tripod (small and compact for k01 with limiteds) which would greatly help in this situation as well as others.

Such a great camera and great examples uploaded by many PF members here. @Kyle509, what a cool looking location where is that...I always think of forests when considering the Pacific NW? I definitely regret selling my copy of the 15mm but I have a Vivitar 13mm that should be delivered sometime today that I got as a deal I couldn't refuse and will be trying out first before I make the leap back to the 15mm.
Here are a few taken in our garden a few days ago.

First things first:
-- Custom menu option #16 "Using Aperture Ring" should be set to enabled. This is what allows you to use lenses with a manual aperture ring.
-- Button customization (page 3 of main settings menu), green button "action in m/TAv Mode" should be set to TvSHIFT. This is telling the green button to adjust shutter speed.
Are those set correctly?
