Sorry but it was posted to a Facebook page which is anal about deleting posts not relative to that Group - so whilst I had tried to share it is now gone. Hopefully the owner will hear about it being found.

Found recently and posted to a local Facebook page was a K70 with 18-135 lens attached. It was found in very dusty condition within the Onkaparinga Conservation Park south of Adelaide, South Australia.

I now have a 70-200 f4 Nikon that I use on Nikon obviously, find it exceptional in that it is light and performs almost to same level as the 2.8 Nikons.

Had both sold both, the 100-300 f4 is the better optically but now long in the tooth and my copy was very noisy, the HSM of the 150-500 is far superior. Just a pity Sigma don't make the 150-600 Sport available. My choice was to jump.

Are you keeping the K3 or selling to fund a change of brands, if selling a d7100 matched to a Tamron 150-600 older version both can be picked up cheapish.

If he doing everything other than Sports, then the K3ii is as good as or better than the D7200. I used K3 along with D7100 for a period of time and IMHO Pentax is far better built and for most users a better camera. He would find enough good lenses in the Pentax line up as compared to Nikon with exception Nikon has a wider choice of 3rd Party lenses.
I run both Pentax and Nikon bodies and Nikon lenses are not cheap if that is a consideration. Depending where located there may be a good range of Second Hand lenses available - even second hand Nikon lenses get higher prices than Pentax equivalent in my observations.I have the Nikon 18-200VR and by all accounts this is a better lens than the 18-105VR. The Pentax 18-135 which I have is certainly as good as Nikon 18-200..
Hope this helps.

Lowepro Top loader which allows me to carry an extra small lens, or I can attach a lens case to the side, the flash fits into front pocket with spare battery. Have used it for years.

Same in Australia, B&M stores in the main only stock what sells quick and what the mainstream asks for. A previous poster is correct Pentax buyers are now too savvy to pay the mark up that dealers put on s/h gear, they are in it to make a profit so in some ways we have shot ourselves in the foot. Only places to sell gear now is dedicated Facebook buy and sell sites, Ebay and Pentax Forum. All get closer to buyers and it is easy and quick if you are careful.

Just an add to Adam's excellent detail, whilst the back button focus is useful, unless you disable the half press focus of the shutter button (leaving this feature active) will cause the camera to refocus which is probably not what the instructor was intending.

Thanks for comments, have been to the scene numerous times over the years never the correct time. Was there the week before same time of day but very clear sky and the light quite harsh. The grass at the front does bother me - might take the mower with me next time Ha Ha.

Thanks for comments. Yes the new software is amazing, you need a good amount of overlap and I've had a couple of failures where it ended up not very consistent - due my error. Original photos had a bit of haze - ran Haze removal in Photoshop and came up very clear.

Thank you for your comments, I had been to the area the week before and lighting too strong and I had used the 15/4 with bales looking too far in distance. Glad it turned out this time.

If you really want to know why not compare all the companies policies that are issued to clients through other sales streams and those of Apia. I don't have the time or interest to do so.
I actually work for a competitor who issue policies through many different sales streams and whilst many of the covers and wordings are identical, at the same time many areas are different, to target and to have a point of difference either in price or coverage.

For me it is Paul, but your correct you need to check the cover your company gives you via their PDS forms which are usually readily available online. Most have $ limits on items unless specified which is easy to do if you remember if items increase in value or you change them. ---------- Post added 12-07-16 at 10:34 PM ----------
Actually it is now a fully owned Subsidiary of Suncorp. Even from its inception 30 odd years ago it was run as a Subsidiary of another company which has now been purchased by Suncorp tailoring its Policies for the over 50's market.

Paul just me, but I have Insurance for all the big things in my life such as House/ Car and Caravan, but my Camera equipment is not insured when out and about. It is obviously insured against theft when at home.
I have seen cover is available for Pro photographers through AON.
