Found recently and posted to a local Facebook page was a K70 with 18-135 lens attached. It was found in very dusty condition within the Onkaparinga Conservation Park south of Adelaide, South Australia.

If he doing everything other than Sports, then the K3ii is as good as or better than the D7200. I used K3 along with D7100 for a period of time and IMHO Pentax is far better built and for most users a better camera. He would find enough good lenses in the Pentax line up as compared to Nikon with exception Nikon has a wider choice of 3rd Party lenses.
I run both Pentax and Nikon bodies and Nikon lenses are not cheap if that is a consideration. Depending where located there may be a good range of Second Hand lenses available - even second hand Nikon lenses get higher prices than Pentax equivalent in my observations.I have the Nikon 18-200VR and by all accounts this is a better lens than the 18-105VR. The Pentax 18-135 which I have is certainly as good as Nikon 18-200..
Hope this helps.

Thanks for comments. Yes the new software is amazing, you need a good amount of overlap and I've had a couple of failures where it ended up not very consistent - due my error. Original photos had a bit of haze - ran Haze removal in Photoshop and came up very clear.

I have both a K3 and a Nikon d7100 which is pretty much just an earlier version of d7200. If it were me I would go to a store and handle the d7200 and see if it is a comfortable fit. There are positives and negatives with both camera's. A lot will depend on what type of photos you like to take. Nikon offers better sports style photography but the ergonomics in my opinion are not to same level as the Pentax nor is the actual feel of the camera.
If it is landscapes and all around camera for life's moments, travel and the like Pentax is as good or better than most. But birding and sports sorry but the Nikon is way in front.

In South Australia fishing areas, they often have tractors usually old Fordsons and Massey Ferguson or similar which they cherish as trailer/ boat haulers over the long stretches of sand.

Since the problem does not exist with any other K mount camera, instead of blaming Sigma I would suggest Ricoh has made a subtle change to the mount of K1 which has caused this issue. How can you read it any other way. Perhaps the problem exists with Tamron lenses also.

In a word no. Unless I am using telephoto lens, I turn off OS and use the in camera SR, a lens without OS is most likely lighter as well.

Adrian thanks for bringing this to our attention, purchased one this week and tried it out with the Sigma 50-150 with excellent results @ 150 end, also allows to shut down aperture more when using the flash and still get excellent detail. Used as fill in flash on some flowers with excellent results.
Will try on my longer lens.

I must be different, but the only time I have ever used a body cap is when I sell the camera sans lens.
A lens is always fitted ready to take a photo.

Glad you headed allegedly, I think it is the other way round the Importer started to sell because the brick & mortar stores had already stopped or reduced (had to order lenses sight unseen), and the online sales of product including grey imports was forcing them to provide price matching. I have bought all my Camera bodies from brick & mortar stores here in Adelaide, all lenses and flash etc. have been from online/ Ebay new or used because none of the stores had any stock anyway.

The thin knurled row near the base does nothing more than act as a grip when mounting or adjusting the TC - the row of numbers from 1:1 on left & 1:3 to right indicate the life size macro @ .45m with a 50mm lens fitted, the lower row is for same @ infinity with a 50 mm lens fitted. With a 50 mm lens fitted it acts like a 100 mm macro lens - as you will have 2 manual focus rings one on TC & one on the lens it is best I find to set the TC @ required level of magnification & adjust the final focus with the lens.
Just make sure on SR that you list as a 100 mm lens.
