On the K1 the "cable switch terminal", as it is called in the manual, is below the sd card slots. Not sure about the K3. The cable is 2.5 to 2.5.

I have the Pluto and use it with the K1. It works correctly and have tested most functions but still to do any serious work yet. Is the trigger shown as connected in the app? Should be a battery symbol at the top right. Let the app do the pairing, not your phone. I am using android.

I'm sure lawyers were the group in question when I first heard this joke and if we are grouping politicians and crims there will be a lot of overlap with them!

I thought I might as well check the garden while I have the 150mm out.

I looked a bit closer lens mount issue between the Irix 150mm and the 2X and see that the problem is with the Irix lens mount. It does not have the slot machined out where the aperture ring feedback is on an A lens. The lever inside the 2X Here it is compared to the 28-105. I might see if it is possible to remove the lever from the 2X as none of my cameras use it. Are all Irix lenses the same?

I think he was praying for rain! This was a few months back though, plenty of rain here now. I used a rolled up rag for a rest. No flash. The frog was perfectly still for the 15 secs of the last shot, except for under his chin from breathing. I haven't worked out how to attach my ring flash yet. I was disappointed that I can't use my 2X teleconverter though, the aperture feed back lever of the converter has no corresponding slot in the lens. I may try to remove feedback lever as none of my cameras need it and a 300mm macro would be good for chasing bugs.

A few more. Most of these were from a small reserve near Badgingarra.

This was good year for the wildflowers due to the high rainfall. It is amazing how many different colours there are.

Thanks for looking Mike. The numbat is one of the many endangered animals here. I got this shot at one of the last two places where they are still in the wild. Cats and foxes are the problem. This shot was when he went for cover when I tried to get closer.

Getting shots of this numbat was worth the whole 18000km drive.
